| Windham Historical Society will be offering another presentation of its popular Cumberland and Oxford Canal program. The last two presentations in 2009 were standing room only. Dave Tanguay and Ray Philpot will offer insight into how to find the canal today using satellite imagery and old maps as well as present interesting imagery of days gone by. Light refreshments will be served during intermission. The presentation will be held at the Windham Public Library and RSVP is requested due to limited seating at the library. This is a series of dates and places at which constituents from Durham, Lisbon and New Gloucester can sit down with Rep. Van Wie to discuss whatever issues are on their minds and for Van Wie to sponsor specific discussions on various topics of interest. Depending on the topic Van Wie may invite special guests to speak and answer questions. New Gloucester Community Building, this is the Old Firehouse behind Town Hall. Jan. 11; Monday, Feb. 8; Monday, March 8 and Monday, April 12.
